Carolina, d. 1893 in Palmyra, Illinois)  was married to Emily Green Ferguson (b. 1820 in Indiana, d. 1893 in Palmyra, IL).  Solomon (b. 1852 in Palmyra, d. 1909, Dixon, Illinois) was married to Katherine Campbell Shaw (b. 1855 in Cass County, Illinois, d. 1893 in Dixon, Illinois)

the 1790 census. Brother to "Devil" John Bethea.
