She was the daughter of Tristram Pinkney and Rebecca Vise Bethea7born August 28, 1881 and lived to be seventy-one years old. She married Earl Quincy Smith and died December 31, 1952. They had five children (2 sets of twins) and one surviving son, S. Carlton Smith9  born in 1904
